eiVia Partners with Content Analyst to Extend Analytic Capabilities Associated with Structured and Unstructured Data

eiVia, Inc. (www.eivia.com) has formalized a partnership with Content Analyst Company, LLC to provide increased visibility by combining eiVia’s predictive intelligence with Content Analyst’s advanced analytics of unstructured content. This partnership greatly extends the analytic capabilities for both structured (numeric) and unstructured (text and image) data.

“The future of analytics is improved visibility into the future,” said Richard Tanler, CEO of eiVia. “Improved visibility requires linking revenue drivers and individual events to performance measures. In many cases, emerging trends are only identified from sophisticated textual searches of data; they often do not surface in the numeric data. This is why we are working with Content Analyst to better define and model events and operating performance.”

Today, even real-time data is not fast enough for most marketing and sales decisions that require time for analysis and planning. Decision-makers need visibility into the future, which is the ability to isolate key opportunities and risks that will impact business performance. Organizations have torrents of information both structured and unstructured. Those that leverage this information will lead their industries.

“eiVia, Inc. leverages the same data warehousing infrastructure to provide predictive analytics and interactive modeling to deliver forward-looking performance visibility,” said Douglas Meadows, Vice President, Content Analyst.

Content Analyst provides sophisticated technology to mine large volumes of textual or unstructured data essential for decision-making because business performance must be placed within the context of market events, competitive actions and consumer trends.

The partnership between the eiVia and Content Analyst includes a cross-licensing agreement to resell each company’s software, with the goal of developing integrated applications that extend well beyond current capabilities of Business Intelligence. “Our vision is to provide companies with information that will allow them to create new business opportunities and improve competitiveness in existing markets.” said Tanler. “To achieve this goal, companies must find new ways to analyze the torrent of information that is available.”
