Content Analyst Augments its Core Teams


Content Analyst Company announced strategic appointments that augment its Sales, Customer Engagement, and Engineering teams, in response to growing demand for Content Analyst's innovative search technology products.

Kurt Michel has been appointed as Vice President of Sales for the Content Analyst Sales team. Mr. Michel brings over 17 years of successful end user and channel sales and management experience in the document management, document capture, advanced search, and enterprise content management markets to Content Analyst.

Mr. Michel joins Content Analyst from Oracle, where he was responsible for the sale of Enterprise Content Management solutions to the Intelligence Sector of the Federal Government. Prior to acquisition by Oracle, Mr. Michel held a number of sales and sales management positions at Stellent, a leader in Enterprise Content Management. Mr. Michel was the Regional Vice President of Sales at Optika, a leader in the Document Imaging and Business Process Industry, where he was instrumental in their growth and eventual sale to Stellent. Mr. Michel has also held sales and management positions at ZyLab and Intrafed.

Keith Mercer joins Content Analyst's Customer Engagement team as Engagement Manager. Mr. Mercer brings over 15 years of technology experience to Content Analyst, with an extensive knowledge of the design and deployment of Workflow/Process, Project Management, and Data Retrieval products.

Mr. Mercer joins Content Analyst from PartMiner Inc., where he was responsible for customer integration and training for PartMiner's Connect product, a database management tool for electronics components and bills of materials. Prior to PartMiner, Mr. Mercer was a key member of Flextronics Design's Sales and Engineering Teams. There, he supervised and maintained pipelines and the implementation of products for customers on both the sales and technical range, soon becoming a key individual to Flextronics PDP Global Group.

David Kruse joins Content Analyst's Development Team as their lead Technical Writer. Mr. Kruse brings over a decade of technical writing expertise to Content Analyst, across a broad range of technical publications to a diverse business audience. Mr. Kruse joins Content Analyst from BAE Systems, Inc., where he was the principal author of a number of guides and manuals as a BAE consultant for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Prior to BAE Systems, Mr. Kruse held positions at Advanced Technology Systems, Inc., and Convergys, Inc., where his duties covered everything from writing manuals for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to researching and writing strategic technical manuals for the Dutch telecommunications industry.
