Cerebrant Inside Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Sales

REPORTS TO: Vice President, Sales

LOCATION: Reston, VA

Job Description:

This position requires the ability to successfully prospect for new sales opportunities via telephone; to present an in-depth domain knowledge of Pharmaceutical Research; and have ability to present/demonstrate Cerebrant in a meaningful and useful manner. The Inside Sales rep will close sales directly.

The successful candidate should be able to use consultative selling skills to clearly understand customers' business environment, challenges, & project requirements. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be able to articulate how Cerebrant will solve their business issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform leads into productive business outcomes; manage and close existing deals while cultivating, qualifying and developing new opportunities.
  • Able to obtain agreement from multiple parties throughout all stages of the sales cycle;
  • Adapt presentations to suit a particular audience; respond to objections successfully.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise without supervision.
  • To ensure that SalesForce CRM and/or administrative tools are updated in a timely manner with accurate information.
  • To gain agreement from customers wherever possible for reference calls, case studies and press releases to help further promote Content Analyst within the wider market.
  • To engage in other activities as appropriate that will help the team achieve its targets and more generally contribute to the overall success of Content Analyst.
  • Maximize productive time in phone selling, web interaction selling, and e-mail communication.
  • This role is not expected to involve travel to customers, but occasional travel may be required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within customer, tying them all together with strategic vision and focus.

Qualifications:

  • An excellent telephone manner and good communication skills are essential, together with a friendly and flexible approach. Confidence in cold and warm calling.
  • Ideally the successful candidate will have experience within Inside Sales or similar environment.
  • To recognise that Content Analyst is quarterly driven and to focus on meeting individual quarterly targets.
  • Able to identify key people to bring about change communication skills a necessity, as is the ability to communicate on all levels.
  • Sound processing skills in a computerized environment. Excel and Word essential.
  • Accurate, thorough and self-checking.
  • Develop a network of contacts and target specific influential people to reach goals.

Data Operations Manager

Job Description:

Content Analyst Company, LLC is currently seeking a high-energy and talented Data Operations Manager to join our team, dedicated to ensuring that the operations group provides a high level of support to internal and external customers. This role will manage all production support related issues for internal and external customers and ensure a customer-centric environment. This person will install and maintain processes to ensure that data ingestion jobs, incidents, problems and all other challenges in operations are resolved quickly and with a high level of quality.

We want a team player who can take on a challenging assignment, investigate what is needed for it to be successful through research and communication with others, and make it happen with high-quality, good testing, and solid and consistent integration with existing code.

Required Skills:

  • Relevant experience with at least two of the following: service operations, production support, data ingestion workflows and processes, IT service management, data management and file transfer protocols, service desk and systems monitoring tools, project management, systems administration, cloud experience (AWS preferred).
  • Experience creating and implementing processes and policies for teams to work efficiently.
  • Self-starting detail oriented developer with good teamwork and communication skills.

This role will have a significant influence in a number of our core product features. This requires a team player who can own a challenging set of tasks and drive them to completion, and have fun doing it. It will require working within a cross-functional team, and collaborating with members in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and write features, typically in Java, for our text analytics product.
  • Work with big data: customers routinely ingest and process tens of millions of documents.
  • Design new kinds of analytics to provide valuable insight into big data.
  • Solve challenging problems in algorithms, scalability, performance, and API design.
  • Participate in peer code reviews.
  • Design and implement end-user workflows and experiences.
  • Use the best tools available: laptops, multiple monitors, your favorite IDE, and Git.
  • Avoid meetings and distractions: our daily 15 minute standup is all we need.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline.

This role will have a significant influence on our capabilities to maintain a stable and elastic environment, successfully servicing a large customer base. This requires a team player who can own a challenging set of tasks and drive them to completion, and have fun doing it. It will require working within a cross-functional team, and collaborating with members in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain an AWS environment, with experience utilizing one or more of Ansible, Ruxit, Opsworks (with Chef scripting), Cloudwatch, EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, IAM, EBS, ELB.
  • Familiar with a variety of telephony equipment, switches, routers.
  • Capable of providing basic PC support and troubleshooting.
  • Solve challenging problems in scalability, performance, and AWS usage.
